Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

When my previous dentist retired a few years ago, I was looking for an office close to home and was referred to Lost Mountain Dental. I have been so happy with the practice. Dr Johnson and Haley have been so great and are always so kind and happy. They also do a great job of informing you about what is going on and are very attentive. The office is very welcoming and friendly. Very happy with Lost Mountain Dental!

Great dental office from the time you walk in until the time you leave. Haley cleaned my teeth and was most kind and friendly. She explained everything she was doing. Dr. Johnson was just as kind and friendly as well as thorough and honest. We had to find a new dentist due to insurance and all the reviews were spot on. Going to the dentist can cause some anxiety for many as well as myself, but with Haley and Dr. Johnson, my nerves were quickly and easily calmed by their presence.

I had a great experience on my first visit. Dr.Molly and Danielle are so amazing, professional and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and very welcomed. Danielle was very gentle with me and my teeth looked and felt amazing after my visit. Everything was clean and well organized. I highly recommend if you're looking for a dentist.

Iβve been a patient at Lost Mountain Dental for over 25 years, and I can confidently say the level of care has always been outstanding. The entire team is professional, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to their patients. I especially want to recognize Dr. Johnson for her exceptional care during a recent dental emergency. She made herself available on a Saturday to provide guidance and get me started on medication, which made a huge difference. She then worked me into the schedule first thing Monday morning, coordinated a referral to an oral surgeon, and my treatment was completed before 10 am that same day. That kind of responsiveness and efficiency is rare. I was in significant discomfort, and thanks to Dr. Johnson and the entire team, I was able to get the care I needed very quickly. Iβm incredibly grateful and highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dental team that truly puts patients first.
